Born in Taipei in 1989, Yen Yu-Ting graduated from the Chinese Ink Painting Department of the National Taipei University of the Arts. She currently resides and works in Taipei. She was previously selected as a representative artist for the Taipei International Art Fair (MIT) for emerging artists and the Ministry of Culture's residency and exchange program. Her works have also been included in the collections of the M+ Museum in Hong Kong, the White Rabbit Gallery in Australia, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts.

Yen Yu-Ting's paintings primarily focus on the fractured mental states that arise in the age of information overload, along with the various absurdities and amusements that accompany them. Her works often use texts, images, and stories collected from online media as their background. She attempts to transform and reinterpret them on the basis of traditional ink painting symbols, aiming to capture the collective restlessness and trance-like mental states in Taiwanese society through her art.
